thank you on the con-grats. It was a nail bite-in season. No one was hurt and that is always a good thing. After tomorrow I get two weeks off for being a good boy at work. YAAA WHOOOO.

Still going well in my battle. I come across a platoon of infantry in the NE of the map...



and annihilate it in less than a minute!

Well, I lost a T-34. That Cargol is crafty. I led off down a road with a T-70 without incident, and then followed a few turns later with a T-34, at which point he unhid his light gun and managed to knock it out. Otherwise still going OK. Really putting the boots to his infantry!

Greetings Comrades;

I had a very successful game against Cargol. On the left, my carryover force had the red set-up zone, and the reinforcements in the green. Even with the platoon of T-34s and SMG company, I didn't think it possible to take the entire map, so I elected to clear the northern half at least. Turns out it was a good thing. I'm pretty sure Cargol was trying to pinch us off at the base of the corridor from the north with the captured T-34 and a company or more of infantry. Unfortunately for him he met my 3 T-34s and company of SMGs. Overall I counted 22 eliminated unit icons. It was very satisfying given my lacklustre performance earlier on!

Glider has adopted the same squeeze strategy as Cargol it looks like but I have rebuffed all of the attempts to cut the position in two. There are some infiltrators here and there. His casualties are high, mine are acceptable. His tank is gone. I've lost two light tanks with a third going deep to see if he is manning his Flags. I've begun to move infantry to roll up his flank. Overall it goes well and I am shifting to more aggressive tactics now that it looks like I've figured out what he's trying to do.

Great! Have you made any attempt to clear that southern factory complex, or are you focusing on the northern half of the map a I did?
