Please, not play with EA !!!!!

Peter
I vote for EA on- it's more realistic and enjoyable.

Also, the tournament scorecard is still reading a minor victory in Askim Bridges (vs Arnold75). This was a major victory for Axis- can this be updated please?

Thx

Here's the latest Tournament situation report. Sorry, been busy.

As for the rules, I agree on the fact that this Tournament is about trying out new scenarios, against new opponents, with various sets of rules.

So just to let you know: Variable Visibility will strike you, at some time :smoke:

At the moment I am considering EA=off AF=on for the next round. Just in order to have some variety into gaming cheers

By the way, now would be the time to nominate your favourite 1941 scenarios as well!
Outlaw Josey Wales vs Peiper: Germans Drive North

Peiper gained a major Axis victory over the Norwegians.
Laza vs Boisforas: Askim Bridges

Major win for the legions of Laza

Manys thank to Eric for enjoyable game

Excellent news, Laza. A Major Axis is balanced out with an Allied Major. Askim Bridges proved to be another balanced scenario cheers

Are you still fighting Fall Weiss from 1939? Or have I missed out on the result.

Josey, Peiper, result logged as well.

Yes fighting still continues in Poland with John, though not sure I be reporting happy news there to the Reesemeister
My next question is:

For the first time, 1941 gives us a good (or at least a better) number of scenarios to choose from. from all Theatres of Operations (EF WF RS)

Should we have a round for each of them? Three rounds: 1941 EF, 1941 WF and 1941 RS?

Or combine a sample of scenarios into one round, that of 1941, simply? :chin:

At least these scenarios are available. I have not yet checked how balanced they are...

EF:
The Battle is Joined
Terror at Borisov
Surprise for the 17th Panzer
Checking the Blitzkrieg
Victory or Death!
Sealing the Victory
Zhukov Strikes At Yelnia
Clash at the Railhead
Bloody Odessa
Sabers in the Sun
Kicking Open the Gate
Grab for Russa
Counterattack at Sitno
On Stalin's Doorstep
March to the Fight
Bridgehead at Starobeshevo
Spires of the Kremlin
Counterattack at Yakhroma
Blitzkrieg on Skis
Crossroads to Disaster
A Knife to the Throat
The Siberians are Coming

WF:
Skirmish at Mechili
Impregnable
Ras El Madaur
Habbaniya
The Afrika Korps Strikes Back
The Forgotten Front
The Devil's Graveyard
Gabr Saleh

RS:
Yang Dang Khum
Pozorrubio
Agony on the Agno
Kuching
Bukit Stabar Airfield
Philippine Scouts Stand and Fight
Now would be the time to join in for 1941 as well. Interested, give me a shout!

At the same time I would ask the Liaison Officers perform a roll call for the next round.

Having considered the optional rules, I have decided 1941 will play in the spirit of Beer&Pretzels with ALL optional rules OFF except AF=on.

Of course, if a scenario lists certain optional rules, those rules are to be used.

I will have a look at the scenario balance over the next week, and will post the candidates here. Any suggestions or favourites let us know.

cheers

Or did you mean: All 'ON' except AF 'OFF' ?
