Here's a list of scenarios Larry and I came up with. They were selected from the database based on games played (>10), rating (>7), size (SM <= 7) and on balance.

WF only. No scenarios on EF that met the criteria, no scenarios on RS at all for this timeframe.

Anything else you would like to see here? Would you like to see a team game included as well?

This would be the time to join in for the next round. New players welcome! Let me know which side you want to play, or if you are willing to be placed to either team.

For existing players, Larry and I will give you a quick shout over email to see if you want to continue.

We will not launch 1940 quite yet, let us give new players a chance to join in.

Meanwhile, if you are finished with 1939 scenarios, you can always opt to play another scenario: for example if you were deployed in Poland, you can suggest a Winter War scenario to your opponent. Just let me know if you started a new one. I just started The Phony Offensive (WF!) with Larry cheers

EDIT: Ashcloud would like to give 1939 a go as well, he's been deployed in The Prelude until now. Any Allied general willing to step in?

EDIT2: The latest situation moved here:
I would like to join the fray. Either side would be fine.

Rob
I am still looking for a 1939 game - am I going to have to skip a year and just go ahead to 1940?
Welcome Rob / Smedley! We will accommodate you once we have the teams in place!

Ashley, let us see what happens! I will still try to get you an opponent. But if not, as I found out, Big Bully really should have been in 1939 phase, not in The Prelude, as it took place Apr 7 1939...

As for the whole Tournament, we are learning as we go along. One change we did when moving to 1939 was not to have any team games, as they take a lot longer than normal scenarios. On the other hand, they are fun, and the tournament rule was to rotate the team game players as well. So again, let me know if you think we should again have a team game in 1940 (not that I have ensured one exists!).

I know some of the players are still playing the big team scenarios from The Prelude. Let me know if you want to go through the 1939 as well, will you?

Wolfman, Cole, that's you, especially. What we could do perhaps is to have Smedley and Ashcloud playing a 1939 scenario against you if you so wish. I noticed the whole Axis team game crew moved to 1939 although still ploughing throught the bitter prewar years...
And of course: Nemesis, Mr Guberman, would you like to join in now?

Hey matey, I sent a email over to begin our battle, please advise if you got it. (just key the handset if you cant talk)

cheers Laz
As many of you have asked for one more week to finish the battles ongoing, we have decided to se the H-Hour for 1940 to 1900 hours, Feb 28th!

Smedley, you seem to be heading towards the Allied camp. OK?

With night temperatures dropping to near -30C in Helsinki :eek1: here's a nice little tune to keep your spirits up.

Waves of Lage Onega (1942)

Heck, I even threw a camp fire to go with it cheers

EDIT: If that's still too cold for'ya, the sun seems to be shining at the other side of the trench lines:

I know what they say about'em CA girls, but Russian girls:  :)
Here's one more from the vast archives of YouTube. Back in 1993, when I heard The Red Army Choir will feature in the annual Helsinki Day public concert, "wtf" summed my thoughts quite nicely. Decided to go with my girl friend (back 20 years ago, I still went to places). And what an experiment it was. You got to be there to witness the power of the Ensemble: when they join in, your hair will stand up, it so powerful.

Anyway, here we go one more time, while waiting for the 1940 Phase to pick up.

I'd like to join in-

Put me on the Axis side if that's available- If it's not, then Allies.

I'm working off a Blackberry for the moment, so email is the best contact method for me.

Sure, more the merrier! (or how do you put it :) )

Still room for more cheers
