Turn 17
Russians are advancing at full strengh on my right flank with a force of 7 armour consisting of 3 light tanks,1KV? and 3 T34.
I ve decided to open fire with my Gun and try to check their advance.
At the end of the turn 1 KV? and 1 T34 was knocked out.
I have at my sights at the moment another T34.
Next turn will be desicive so cross ur fingers and hope that day will be ours!!
In total 10 Tanks were spotted so far.

Turn 9 and the enemy is about 100m from our forward outposts. One of their T-70s has suffered a track hit and has been abandoned and the other had a frontal turret penetration but its status is unknown and has reversed out of LOS. Three T-34s are area firing around my ATG's position some 750m back.
On my left forward outpost I've lost one Plt HQ and almost whole squad when building collapsed under the fire of their five tanks few turns ago. Two men that survived have just repelled one SMG half squad (3 men) that was trying to enter the ruins with the support fire from two Sqds in the building 50m ahead. Now I have only one man left in those ruins, but as soon as the smoke clears I'll be able to cover that 50m open ground between their heavy building and our ruins whit one of my MGs from the station. So far I kept all of my MGs silent except for one that opened fire on the infatry riding those T-34s. Tanks opened fire on the factory building where the MG and two Sqds are stationed, but they were soon distracted by the ATG fire.

I'm pulling back my 81mm mortars from the outposts because they have spent their ammo.

I have a feeling this is merely a feint to draw my attention and reserves to that direction while the main punch will be on one of my flanks. My troops are positioned for the all around defence, so I'll sit still for now.

Shep, do you have any new information on enemy numbers in the area?

Looks like you are "Do'n Good"! Patience prevails! I have yet to encounter the enemy near the factory! I have found 1 MG and 1 Squad to my eastern front when they destroyed my kubel wagon. The driver is now a forward outpost, but no Russians have come closer! I am sending a truck to the north as a recon element to try to locate some Ruskies. It will cross the RR tracks next turn and head into the village on that side to see what is there!
It sounds like your defense is working well!
By the way, were the five tanks shooting at your forward observation post all T-34s!
From your last sitrep I had the following:

c. 9 Inf, some on tanks!

Are there more T-34s, and how about Inf!
Sorry I can't provide you more intel, but the Ruski Commander is keeping his forces well out of site! A Ghost Bn!

There are 3 T-34s and 2 T-70s so far. Infantry is about 9-10 icons, but it seems he has split some of the squads. Anyway I'm sure there is more enemies lurking around.

Thanks for the intel! I still have no real contract with the Ruskies! The units the Kubel Wagon found have remained stationary around the flags to the east. My truck recon has crossed the RR Tracks and will nose around to the N and NE. I'm beginning to think the Ruskies are moving all their forces to the north of the RR Tracks to capture the objectives in that area and, thus, by pass the factory complex. My recon should confirm that shortly!
