Good report Herr Warrior!
At my battle turn 15 and 5 more Tanks were spotted.
In total 8 tanks with infantry riding on them.
We have to see if there are more of them to come.
So far 10 Tanks identified in my and Joony's battle.
Maybe after all their attempting to outflank us from North &South.
Hopefully when i ll bleed them a little they will be more carefull.
Hi to all!:)!

Turn 9 and still no Russians! I'm sending our my recon (one Truck and One Kubel) to try to make contact so we know where they are! My units will be repositioned for an "All Round Defense" within two turns to prepare for any direction of Russian Attack!
Hi to all!:)!
Well, Turn 10 is completed and no Ruskies yet! There are a lot of flags on the map as well in the Ruski held areas, but all of them show "?"! I would think if there were a lot of Russian Forces around at least a couple of the flags would show a Russian Flag symbol!

Is it possible that the Russians did not allocate any troops to fight this battlej, but sent them to other battle areas! Can you do that under the rules of engagement in the tournament??

Chuck! What is your status! Have you started the battle! Have you encountered any Ruskies yet!

I have sent out a truck to the north and Kubel to the east to find the enemy!

Has anyone any ideas!
Yes there will be Russians on the map somewhere.
Turn 3

Enemy units spotted advancing from the east toward the train station. ATGs have no LOS. Two mortars from the outposts have opened up on turn 2 and are almost out of ammo. Next turn I'll order two MGs in the factory to open up on enemy infantry.

Is it wise to move ATG in order to acquire LOS?
Depends on the situation but mostly no.

If your gun is far away (600+ metres) from the nearest enemy inf unit and is in contact with a stealth bonus HQ and is moving through woods or similar heavy cover terrain and you *really* need it elsewhere then yes.

Otherwise, if there is a chance that the enemy will enter your ATG LOS it is better to wait.
Oooh i feel so evil.

This is what you get when you take out one of my guns with a mortar placed in open ground lol.

Now to crush what resistance remains

The enemy is trapped within the white areas, I am throwing all the HE i have into the black areas and the MGs will take care of the red areas. I think the enemy is routing to the south so towards the trees, but wherever they rout it won't matter they will either be out of harms way or mown down mercilessly by my MGs. The HE into the woods should cause those to rout there and if they rout south it will be devistating as there is nothing but 500 or more meters of open ground covered by 5 MGs (and the other MGs may even be able to get shots too)

Hi to all!
Chuck! Looks like you are being attacked in the Usual Manner! Straight ahead! The Direct Approach!
Thanks for the intel on the Russoina Order of Battle! Now I know what I am up against.

I'm sure the Ruskies in my battle are trying to get around my left flank behind the buildings with an indirect attack. As soon as my Kuble Clears the east side of my defense, i can then move my ATG on the right back to the left rear, and reorient my defense to the NW as well! Also, my truck recon might also turn up the russian's location.

Regarding the ATG! As they say, "all things come to him who is patient! Just wait and the T-34s will show up in your gunsights. Maybe turn the ATG in that direction and put it on Armored Cover Arc so as not to give away its position!

Good Hunting and let's keep posting to keep each other situationaly aware!

Have a good one!
Hi Joonny!

Keep the "Heat" on!
Good Hunting!
Hi to all!
Well, my recon effort with the Kubelwagon paid dividends as it encountered two Russian units, one MG and one infantry east of the factory at the first flag. The veh was destroyed, but the crew is moving to a nearby building so it can conduct obervation of that area. It appears the units were in a defensive posture, holding the flag. I still think the Ruskies are moving to the north of me to get behind and attack from the NW! My truck recon to the north should yield some good intel! We'll be ready! :)!
