I wonder if a 7YW 3d mod will come sometime soon? Game is great, all needed are the 3d units  Helmet Wink

To be more exact ... units ( files 3Dunitsa -through f.bmp -I don't think SYW has any ships -so no need to touch the g files), 3Dsymbols (need to add flags -probably the casualties will need some color tweaking ) and then all of the bases.

Can't give you a timeframe as it all depends upon the units - the other stuff I am handling directly -but that isn't the case with the units.

In the meantime I have been working with Joe Amoral on putting together some 3d units for the next project... that, and am putting together a home studio... finally Mex Big Grin  to be able to work more efficiently.   That being said, my role was always more than just the graphics.

I guess in summary, can't say when ... the 3d map for Seven Years War is functional... our units artist is fitting work in amongst his paying work, and that takes precedence.

Well, 3D is allways a good add to any title but maybe i prefer first have more titles in the serie and leave 3D appear later... i prefer the "real thing" (game) over the "wargamer porn" (units in 3D)  Big Grin2

Trauth you have now a man cave wargamer style where did your magic??? nice, one chair, one table and no more distractions to work... and maybe a bottle of water and a sandwich  Whip   Big Grin

The truth is - I think for, at least, the past 6 years it has been all done on a laptop on a foldable tv tray ...er, in front of of the tv.

More or less a violation on the Hague Conventions of ergonomic workspaces ...   Rolling Eyes  (Don't even ask)...
