Oops you are correct. I can't count. I've always found the VP Dialogue confusing. The manual talks about "less than" or "more than" when talking about working out what level of victory you have. 

So if Eldar has 299 points its clearly a Major Defeat. If he has 301 then its clearly a Minor Defeat. If he has 300 then its.......well whatever the VP dialogue reports.
