1201_01a Close Call at Kubinka HTH

Ok Eldars turn has swiftly come back and the Germans are making all out attacks as you would expect. The map is a bit full but his attacks come in from left to right if that helps to follow things.



7th German Division launches a quick assault [1] against the 2/17th (no artillery? Maybe Eldar is reading this? <BG>) then follows it up with fire fights against the 113th.  
The Russians come off the worse and the 1/113th and 3/113th end the turn disrupted. The 2/17th surprisingly recovers, but it is a C Morale unit with low fatigue.
 
In the centre 19th Pz Division launches an assault [2] against the T-60’s of 2/22nd after a short barrage had knocked out two tanks. He commits both Panzer Bn’s and the Motorised Bn. I lose 2 tanks and he losses 18 men. The 2/22nd is pushed back. 
After the assault he is still able to fire and kills 5 men from 2/113th but he loses a tank in the exchange.

To the left the 292nd also launches a 2 Bn assault [3] against the 1/22nd knocking out 2 tanks at the cost of 22 men. The 1/22nd is also pushed back. It does however recover from disruption.

The 1/22nd would have been pinned had he not assaulted, however destroying the trapped unit would have been a lengthy process and tied up a lot of his units. Eldar has cleared the woods and my units are now in clear terrain, but nicely concentrated.

North of Sememychi the right wing of 292nd Div assault [4] and push back the disrupted 2/322nd Bn. German casualties are reasonable but he has pushed me back onto  the village with the 1/25th and 467th Sappers.

Behind his front line I see 3 units which will be available to him next turn.

The 258th Division only launches one assault [5] and this fails badly. He did try to disrupt my unit with fire before the assault but it did not work and the 4th Sappers stood up to the assault. The 258th did well however in the fire fights. The 258th Pioneers did not fire?

The 3rd Motorised finally made their move on Naro-Fominsk (N-F). The 1/787th is faced with 3 Bn sized units.  The 2/787th however will prevent them flanking the 1/787th.

At N-F the Armoured Car unit of 3rd Motorised appeared and drew fire from the 2/1 gds before he brought up 2 Motorised Bn’s. In the exchange of fire the 2/1 Gd’s lost.
