On turn 11, my attempt to stalk and kill Nosey on the left flank has taken a turn for the worse as I walk into an ambush:





My own recon mortar battery and the rifle battalion's battery both provide smoke cover around the village.







Two new guns are revealed on turn 12 - one on the far right rear flank, and one overlooking the village from the far center ridge.

Ive taken heavy losses from my recon teams meeting the enemy on the flanks. These squads will be hard pressed to do much more heavy fighting. The rifle company is OK at this point and even extended the offensive to take out Bertha. The HQ tank platoon takes an unfortunate hit to a tank commander, as it moves up to support the grunts with their flamethrowers.

Overall, I am hoping to pin down the enemy with my grunts and turn things around with my maneuvering tank platoons on the flanks.
