it is probably an old topic
I think there is a bug with minefields in CS
when an engineer moving into a minefield

my enginners get disrupted or take losses,
when they enter a minefield, I think this is a bug

Which game? Which scenario? Which country? Which year? Are you advancing the engineer with other units?

It is highly recommended to update to the 2.01 UPDATE. It's free and full of many advancements.

If advancing with other units, they can get residual effects. Check the F2 button to see if that TYPE of engineer is a mine-clearing capable unit as well.

I play Canadian in breskens pocket 1944
I will check with F2 tab
love to update to 2.01 but it is possible with Windows XP ?

Yes it is possible, I still run Windows XP!! According to the platoon data, the engineer should clear mines, mine, construction, and bridging engineers will not.
