Which scenario? Which country? Which year? Are you advancing the engineer with other units? It is highly recommended to update to the 2.01 UPDATE. It's free and full of many advancements. RE: engineer vs. minefield - Warhorse - 06-13-2014 If advancing with other units, they can get residual effects. Check the F2 button to see if that TYPE of engineer is a mine-clearing capable unit as well. According to the platoon data, the engineer should clear mines, mine, construction, and bridging engineers will not.
