Anyone know what SB games are in the works?

RE: Anyone know what SB games are in the works?
Of course squads as we know them today with fire teams, crew served weapons etc., is a WWII creation with some of it evolving from the Stosstruppen tactics of WWI. I suggested Boer Wars as a stretch of the definition to include periods/battles of small unit and tactics that may be well simulated by the SQB engine.

Cheers!

I don't let my son on the laptop, I think it's for the best. ;)

I agree with you because once he finds out about the SB series, you'll never get your computer back! Big Grin2

I actually think that the Boer Wars (particularly the 2nd Boer War - a favourite subject of mine) would work quite well with the SQB engine. Granted much of the action was at the company level, but battles such as Colenso, Spion Kop, and the actions around the Tugela Heights would work fairly well. I'd love to see it!

As much as I would like to see the Boer Wars simulated, I would have to put my money on the Deutsches Afrika Korps and the Desert Fox =)
