RE: Bolt out of the Blue 4.4
Damn i posted a reply and lost the whole damn think in a freak twitching of the finger. Lets try this again, JDR is correct, Belguim and the Dutch had observation helos only and nothing fitted for the AT roll. Most recon helo units were eliminated from the game except the mixed ones of attack and observation helos. Introducing more helos to the game is not always a good thing, u can look back at all the past posts about helos in MC to figure that one out. And yes theres no seperate HQ unit for helos, ive assigned almost all WP helo units to divisional level which has a command range of 12 and didnt see the need for creating 150 more units that had no use except providing that command range of 4 for helos units.

U would have to start over to play the new version.

Ill get back to u Mike on stacking, ive gotta run.

RE: Bolt out of the Blue 4.4
6 Troop, 46 Air Defence Battery (British) is one of the units that i found quickly and if i remember correctly it had 40mm Bofors and Blowpipes. These type of AA units are not represented physically in the game but they are thought into the values of units. A typical Nato Mech unit has an AA value of 6 and if anyone has ever notice in the Wgerm art units at divisional level they had AA units assigned to those Bns permanently and those AA values are higher than other Nato units of this type but not by much.

Aaron

: Each Artillery Battalion had a security platoon (Sicherungszug), which had 4 20mm RH202 AA guns attached. Each artillery regiment has a Begleit Batterie (escort battery) with 12? 20mm AA guns and security personnel with infantry weapons

I really gotta go now

I don't want to be like a nitpicker, and please consider all my posts as constructive criticism because i like your mod a lot, but...

Would it be unrealistical to include a Nowegian division in the Jutland peninsula? They could have send some kind of help if they were not too occupied by the soviet invasion right?

Yes. No such thing was planned for either. On the contrary the norwegians succesfully lobbied for getting as many overseas NATO reinforcements specifically earmarked for Norway as they could.

RE: Bolt out of the Blue 4.4
JDR is correct again, theres no plans i have seen not even any maps written in crayon to show any type of reinforcement from the Norwegians. They would have been stretched thin as it is. I do have a Norwegian defense plan map but its after a mobilization. As for stacking limits if i remember correctly my stacking limits are slightly lower than vanilla, how low do u think they should be, on road, and other terrain because i believe theres 2 separate limits in the .pdt file.

Only 2 Czech East Front Tank Divisions added to the game, From my point of view there is no more divisions to add, the last 2 Soviet Divisions i added a while ago are a 50/50 chance of being a CAT B or C, everything else im almost positive is a C and would take to long to MOB when the scenario is only 18 days long, same goes for the US national guard units except the roundout units that had POMCUS equipment. Same also goes for the other 5 czech div,5 hun bdes and 5 polish div. This dosnt mean none of these men are used because there are replacements and they would come from these units.

Just for curiosity's sake, why did you decide the campaign to last 18 days?

RE: Bolt out of the Blue 4.4
Ive joined a least 20 forums of different nationality's and reading through all the opinions and peoples thoughts on the war that never happened plus all the books ive read through my life i came to the conclusion the war would be 8-14 days long from first shot to ceasefire. The scenario is 18 days long but it could be well over by then , i wanted to give enough time for the initial WP attack, a Nato counterstroke, and then the third stroke could go either way depending on if Nato have cracked the WP line in their counterstroke or if the WP has stopped the counterstroke and pushes Nato back to the Atlantic with all their Reserves.
