A Question....

RE: A Question....
To keep the tournaments going I normally work on between 15-20 scenarios at a time. I have about 12 PBEM's going for those scenarios. Until recently that was all I did. Then I upped the ante with PC. Now I've started to do more with that system and a long time friend bought FoF and I got it and started in with it.

So, PBEM games are about 12-15 at any one time. Plus all the research and playtesting for the scenarios for tournaments.

Tried some CM campaign stuff but I'm going to wait on PC which has a campaign editor already built into it. Want to try to make some campaigns using that but I haven't had the game system long enough to do what I want with it yet.

Good Hunting.

RE: A Question....
It's so nice to see everyone getting along again and discussing war games, it brings a warm glow to the cockles of my heart that we're all friends after all that earlier unpleasantness.

I certainly hope we are all still getting along when this guy buys the blitz from Mark and Jim and the banned guys are back here and we're all one big happy gaming family again.. just like it used to be. Big Grin

I can't wait... better than watching telly this....

RE: A Question....
Hell if it goes through quick we can all be discussing religion and pornography this time next week and patting each other on the back laughing at poo jokes.

RE: A Question....
That's a good 'un Shane! :grin2:

I can't wait to make up funny names for people too. Maybe when I play a board game with another member I can even post up how kewl I am? :smoke:

But, I am having a hard time typing, since I cling to my gun and my Bible. Maybe all that religous discussion will lighten us all up? And, if we are going to discuss Poo can we discuss Tigger too? I like the classics!

cheers

RE: A Question....
HiHi

MR, noticed your offer to play Bootie at FoF, as he may not have the time etc. I’ll give you a game.

In case you ain’t noticed it there is a, ‘Forge of Freedom, Inaugural Challenge’ posted on the ACW MB, if you are up for it then one of us could, to paraphrase Country Joe McDonald, “be the first ones on the Blitz block have our boy’s come home in a box!” :)

Dunno if you would be interested/have the time, and if it’s OK with Thunder etc, maybe we could do a AAR with it so folk at the Blitz could maybe get a feel for the game, your call.

All the Best
Peter

Well Paul, you've been around here longer than me, and that's pretty darned long, so you can probably guess what the odds of that happening are as well as I can. But then again, I don't have to guess, I already know what the answer is. ;)

But in the interests of the new found decorum being demonstrated in this thread, I must ask you, and you too Ed and Shane, to not ridicule an attempt to enter into serious negotiations on his, or someone else behalf, to "own" the Blitz. Funny as it might be to any one who knows Jim, or what the Blitz is really all about, to others it must be a deadly serious issue that money and the judicious application of same can change.

So, please, I don't want to lock the thread down. Move along, there's nothing to see here.

RE: A Question....
You'll have to admit it was pretty funny though. Even in the interests of the new found decorum I had to laugh along with Bootie.

However, I personally think that one CM site with religion and pornography is enough.

Good Hunting.

Let me finish the game I have going first. We are in June 1862, then I'll play against you. I didn't take that challenge from you hoping that you would get someone new involved but if it's still an offer when I finish this one I'll take it. I am currently doing a DAR on the game I'm playing. You can see that at the Matrix site. AAR's and the Uncivil War thread.

Good Hunting.

HiHi

MR, OK see how we are both fixed when you are finished with your current game.
