Infantry against armour

RE: Infantry against armour
Don't forget the HE abilities of some of the smaller AT guns. These small calibre guns are poor ATGs later in the war, but can put out some limited HE rounds. They can dig infantry out of the light buildings and are moved around the battlefield better then their larger cousins. I like to give them a short covered arc and wait for some infantry to show up.
The MG should be used over 200-250m as anything shorter should be regular infantry territory. I try to avoid placing MGs that would face the enemy head on. They are too eay to deal with this way. Try to keyhole them like you would armour and guns and limit the enemies ability to deal with them effectively.

RE: Infantry against armour
How do you get your infantry to use thier AT weapons like grenade-bundles, RPG grenades and the like ?
As I understand from a post by McIvan targeting or placing them under an arc has no use/consequence. To they have to be un-hidden ? Is patience a good virtue in these circumstances ?

RE: Infantry against armour
You can target a vehicle or building with the infantry unit at 40 meters and below and they will eventually use their AT weapons. You cannot control when they will do this but in general an un hidden infantry unit in good order will hurl its grenade, grenade bundle or other AT weapon within the minute turn.

I had a book years and years ago.....Jesus, probably 25 years ago... that had a still photo taken from the last 10 seconds of the third clip....Germans soldiers running past a burning T-34.....unbelievable.
