RE: "THE LONGEST DAY" CMAK operation ROUND 1
To clarify:

Player 1 sends two setup files: Axis_player1_setup, Allies_player1_setup.

Player 2 sends two setup files: Axis_player2_setup, Allies_player2_setup.

Player 1, as Axis, opens Allies_player2_setup, then sends Axis_player1_turn1.

Player 1, as Allies, opens Axis_player2_setup, then sends Allies_player1_turn1.

Player 2, As allies, opens Axis_player1_setup, then sends Allies_player2_turn1.

Player 2, As Axis, opens Allies_player1_setup, then sends Axis_player2_turn1.

And so on.....make sure to use clear names for the files, and use passwords.

I assume we'll be playing with default settings, i.e. Fog of War at Full?

RE: "THE LONGEST DAY" CMAK operation ROUND 1
Rules of engagement : every player will battle with each of his opponent from the grup in 1 different historical scenario ,mirror game .

SO I am supposed to play mission 1 against Der Kuenstler as axis and allies right. Then against General Mayhem UK, and KTN I will play different scenarios, right? So I will play 3 different scenarios within my group and then 2 players with highest scores within the group will advance to next phase, right?

My suggestion is that aixs sets up first and then send up the file to opponent. But the opponent must set up as axis first too before looking at the allied hardware.
I am setting up a game against DerKuenstler very soon.

Like you can see 101 you did an exellent job setting up the tourney in record time but when players go to war everything need to be cristal clear and written beforehand. When bullets start flying then its up to us how things go.

Cheers

No, no, you're confused....four setup files equals only two games. (One game requires two setup files, one from each player.)

Game1: Axis_Setup_player1, Allies_setup_player2

Game2: Axis_setup_player2, Allies_setup_player1

Or perhaps we're simply saying the same thing...

By the way, if you've seen the map from the Allies side, you'll see that the Allies set up is very easy. '^)

Axis setup sent to Der Kuenstler.
Waiting to get axis setup from him and mail 002 for the setup sent for him.

Geordie Wrote:Er, how can you play in a Tourney where you made the maps and chose the forces, doesnt that disadvantage the opponents in your Group?
This is true:conf:
Designer always has the god knowledge how things work, referring to my older posts about historical battlefields I ment random ai picked up troops in "historical" locations.

You all received the scenario before combat started and you know the troops and i've writen in the game and on the forum details about your mission

In ROund 1 every player plays 2 games on same map..mirror...once as allied , once as axis ...now i think of the prises for this turnament.

And i'm not advantage , not by a long shot since the map is balanced and we play mirror
Cheers
now back to hit the books
