My opp had been delayed. Got a turn last night and just checked it, we are on turn 13 of 18.

Thanks to all for the updates.

I would really like all games from one year finished before the next year kicks-off. Please could you each email your opponents and see if there is any way that these game can be rushed to a conclusion - I would really like to try and get 1943 on the go. I appreciate all your efforts with this regard.

Please note, Tournament games should take first priority, team games next and then other games.

Regards,
Ashley

I like the idea. Waiting for stragglers does not do any good for the tournament IMHO.

I have been having a little rethink on the format, because at the end of every round we end up waiting weeks for the stragglers - I think we should change the format from rounds to a continuous stream of games. In other words as one scenario ends and an opponent becomes available, I will then assign the next scenario on the dateline and we continue until the war is over.

Hey Ashley:

I think it is a good idea! :)

Having such a long "lull" between tourney matches... does nobody any good? In fact, it may "encourage" players to drop out... since everything is at a standstill waiting for stragglers... and folks may wish to move on to other games?
Let's get going with 1943!

					Thanks Ashley.
What are the optional rules for 1943?
