Ladder nations?
Ok, when I first went onto the SP ladder my nation was USA and all players on the ladder were shown with USA ranks. I then switched my country to Hungary and now all persons and all ladders are shown as Hungary too.

When you look at the ladder on your computer is it showing as Hungary or another nation? If another nation, are all players nation the same as yours (I should be Hungary on your computer).

It shows your rank as Finnish but when I open your profile you are still Hungarian.

All ranks are displayed based on your current rank.

RE: Ladder nations?
That is too bad, I liked seeing the other players nations. Not sure I like this new "feature".

RE: Ladder nations?
I agree...it sucks.

We discussed this ages ago in the OB during the development of Venus.
It is much easier for Raz to build the new site this way...but it loses part of the flavour I always enjoyed about The Blitz.

Making everything bland in order to facilitate 'progress' has never been something I have agreed with.

Oh well... I guess we'll just have to get used to it eh :(

BTW...when I go to the Ladder page...I cannot see any player pics except Weasel and Vesku.
Anyone know what I have to do to fix that?

Cheers

No one else has set the picture, at least I did it and I guess Chris did too.

RE: Ladder nations?
I have a question.

My Ladder rank is PFC, but when ever I post on the forum it shows me with staff sergeant stripes, but lists me as a private...have I been the subject to some court martial that I am unaware of?

its not important, i'm just curious.

RE: Ladder nations?
Two different things. The ladder rank is based upon your accumulated reported game scores, while the message board rank is based upon how many posts you have made.

So looking at Vesku with the rank of BGen you can tell he never shuts up Big Grin
