I'm looking forward to this.

No,I mean no preplanned arty at all for the defenders :)
Okay thanks.
Odin and I have established radio contact and I sent him the first file via dropbox. We are both looking forward to the battle.

Raz, is there going to be a thread opened up to capture highlights of ongoing battles, screenshots and whatnot?

You know, that's a great idea. I guess some sort of 'the best screenshot' competition would be welcome. 1 pic per player per round with the winner being decided by the community's votes-via a poll- would be a nice addition to the tournament itself.

First turn sent to my opponent Cyrano . All should be good going forward unless I screwed up which is known to have happened on an occasion or two.

Yes I find it hard to believe too... It is a warranty job and has to be sent away... I could understand maybe 3 weeks, but 6 is just wrong... I've been getting up them every second day but I found out today that after 1 week it still hasn't arrived at the repair store... Lord give me strength...

[RT] Pioneer - Cobalt ... started
no pre planned arty strikes for the defender???
going to need a little more info. I think this means I cannot start blasting away on turn one (set up area) but can drop smoke anywhere/anytime and on turn 2 pre plan strikes to drop in 5 mins or more?????
[/quote]
No,you cannot start blasting on turn 1.That's the general unwritten rule not only in this tournament, but in all games :)
You can start issuing arty calls from turn 2.This doesn't qualify as pre-planned drops.

Without affording Nelson 1812 too much information... Here is a screen shot of first contact!
