RE: HPS Diadochoi Wars Released - Rodia - 08-11-2013

Hey Mouser.

This is a screenshot of Baktrian side in Diadochoi Wars, scenario Tabletop4_Baktrians:

Baktria in this battle seems to have everything. Horse archers, heavy cavalry, phalangites, archers, peltasts and elephants.

Hope it helps.

Pacs, Indian longbowmen, pikes! That hit the spot! Thanks!

I am in the process of uploading the scenarios to the data base.

In the following scenario can someone please confirm if this scenario has 20 or 25 turns?

Krannon.scn
322 BC, Rich White
20 turns

"Despite earlier Greek victories, the arrival of reinforcements under Krateros gave Antipater's Makedonian army numerical superiority. Krannon was to prove the decisive battle of the Lamian War and would mark the end of Greek city state freedom from Macedonian hegemony. The battle opened with a cavalry fight - the Greeks hoped that the Thessalian horsemen would secure victory - but then Antipater ordered the phalanx forward and the Greeks fell back onto high ground. But, seeing the Greek infantry retreat, the cavalry fled the battlefield. (25 turns)"

Hello, Compass.

It's 20 turns. In game when playing is shown as "20+".

The mismatch exists but it's only in the description text.

RE: HPS Diadochoi Wars Released - Compass Rose - 08-14-2013

Ok thanks for looking.

Can you also let me know which one of these two scenarios is shown listed in-game?

They are the same scenario however, they are listed twice in the scenario descriptions you posted.

Thermo279BC.scn

Thermopylae_279BC

Thanks

Roman

RE: HPS Diadochoi Wars Released - Rodia - 08-14-2013

Both are listed in-game.

Yes, it's seems they're the same battle.

In-game they look identical and files have the same size.

It happens with "Thessaly 321BC.scn" and "Thessaly_321BC.scn" too.

Could be "what if" scenarios that kept an old description?

I think this one is for Paul Smile

RE: HPS Diadochoi Wars Released - Compass Rose - 08-14-2013

I agree...thanks again!

RE: HPS Diadochoi Wars Released - Titus - 08-14-2013

They are the same battles. One of the files should have been deleted before launching the game

Thessaly 321BC.scn" = "Thessaly_321BC.scn"

Thermo279BC.scn = Thermopylae_279BC
