My panzers pushed over the hilltop but MB caused them sufficient delay to thwart their final advance to the river..

As my last 5 panzers sweep towards the banks of the fabled Volga, the lead tank of the left-flank pair comes under fire from Bootie's 37mmAA gun and is riddled in its turret side and lost..




The Russian gunner calmly stands his ground with his back to the flagpole, determined to make the panzers pay dearly for every inch of soil as they bear down on him..

COMBAT FOOTAGE- The City





My halftrack races into the city centre and is met by one of Cargol's pioneer squads who throw 2 satchel charges in quick succession; the first can be seen detonating beneath the vehicle, destroying it and routing its panzergrenadier passengers, while a follow-up satchel (yellow arc) can be seen sailing towards the hapless machine for good measure..

HUZAAR 75, POS 25 (Major win for Huzaar)




No gain without pain..the debris of war litters the hilltop after Huzaar crushed the Russian garrison..

Cresting the hill, my panzers find themselves funnelled into a killing ground between the trees that Cargol has covered with his ZIS-2 ATG and I quickly lose two..

I got 3 panzers to the final flag but Face made me pay a terrible price; 8 panzer wrecks lie strewn down the map behind..
