This scenario was designed to emulate a specific battle as it happened. Allied play designed, not tested as Axis or H2H.
To emulate the opening barrage, the game I want to present has already started, so it is a ".bls", not a '.btt'. If there is a better way to do this, please advise.

Thanks, Darrel

Late December the Allied advance is closing on Germany. Rolling across northern France the Third Army, 4th Armored Division was charged with clearing the way for the final advance. The railroad crossing of Rohrbach-les Bitche was a major target for control in the final advance, on the france side of this important rail center was a couple of small hamlets... Singling & Bining along with the rolling country side presented themselves on the Road to Rohrbach!

December 5, around noon General Abrams on orders from command was rolling towards Bining. Anticipating some resistance from the hamlet of Singling, a smoke screen was provided by support vehicles as the convoy advanced over the gravel road used long ago, somewhat concealing the advancing column through a shallow valley & providing concealment from the surrounding higher ridges. The tanks have been advancing as fast as possible without infantry or artillery support, speed was of the highest priority, we must close on the german border as quickly as possible.

We join this group at this opening. This battle will recreate the next few days battle in the remainder of this battle senario, abbreviated to a 70 minute battle.

Your mission (the second days advance) originally had armored infantry advancing on the tanks due to the horrible weather and conditions of the roads. The troop carriers half tracks and wheeled vehicles could not match the advancing speed of the Shermans and were abandoned on the road. The troops are provided in this senario near the southern orchards to simulate advancement to the village via the tanks.

The Priests should be used to provide cover for the advance on the village from the south. There is a high ridge on the east which must be dealt with, the first days ambush is not to be reinacted again.

At approximately the 30 min mark some additional Priests will be arriving to provide additional smoke cover to advance on the ridge.
This area must be cleared for the following major army advance to into German!

The town of Singling is comprised of low heavy farm buildings of stone construction. To the north & east are higher ridges.
