Single Battle -The Battle of Full Battle of Borodino (140 turns, Large) - September 5-7, 1812 - This scenario recreates the entire battle at Borodino including the Shevardino Redoubt action. Troops begin as they were on September 5th. Napoleon is present at the Borodino battlefield with his army on the site or shortly due to arrive. Before him is Kutusov with his army arrayed as it was on September 5th including the placement of Tutchkov's III corps in the Russian reserve.

As the Russians I was a bit despondent at first. A lot of a defensive line to cover with units spread over the large map. No reinforcements. The heavy guns are great! Counter attack was fun but eventually ran out of men. Most of the terrain is good for defense but French guns negate that.
Although I suffered a Major Defeat (through my opponents good play and my many blunders!) I thoroughly enjoyed the scenario and hopefully have learned a little more on how to play this challenging series.
