Operation Blue - War in the East

Historical Overview: After surviving a winter campaign it was not prepared for, the Axis now needs resources to support a longer war, and the oilfields of the Caucasus offer the best opportunity to secure these resources. Scenario Overview: The Axis player must balance the need to destroy the Red Army against the rate of advance he needs to achieve to capture the Baku oilfields. To achieve a decisive victory, the manufacturing center of Stalingrad will also have to be assaulted. The Soviet player must balance the forces he has to the north and south of any thrust made by the Axis, as well as blocking and fortfying the approaches to Stalingrad.
