Operation Ochsenkopf - The Matrix Games version of West Front

While 8th Army was driving the 5th Panzerarmee out of it's positions on the Mareth line, the 1ste Army was licking it's wounds and regrouping. It was going to attempt to reach the Tunisian plains once more. but before that it had to deal with a german spoiling attack. This attack was lead by kampfgruppe Lang and had orders to take Sidi Nsir and open the way to Beja. The kampfgruppe had some strong units but owning to the fact thta all it's units came from other formations meant that cooperation was not optimal. Also, 128th Infantry Brigade which was defending the area, had well prepared positions and could count on the support of the North Irish Horse with it's Churchill tanks.
