Biggin HIll, 40km SE of London, England: [Hypothetical; Best played as Allied] Unkown to the world, following Dunkirk the British had established a series of resistance groups throughout the country. Comprised of men and women normally exempt from military service and advisors from both the regular and reserve forces, these groups were tasked to commit acts of sabotage should the invasion become a reality. Their orders were explicit: they were to allow German troops to pass and then strike at their rear utilizing hit and run tactics. Following the early successes of Operation Sealion German forces are on the brink of storming London. One of the few things still slowing them, however, was the tenuous supply line from the ports to the south. To ease the burden, supplies are now being flown in from the continent to the newly captured airfields of the RAF's 11 Group. If London is to remain free then these supply lines must be cut. The North Kent resistance group, aided by survivors from the local home defence battalion, are to make an overnight strike at Biggin Hill. They are tasked with destroying as much mechanical transport and heavy equipment as possible, particularly that belonging to a recently arrived pioneer battalion. Likely German opposition is believed to be light, as it is reported that there are only Luftwaffe field units and support staff in the area. It is possible, however, that German reinforcements from either Croydon or Bromley may attempt to intervene in a prolonged engagement.
