Chabrehez, 25km N of Bastogne, Belgium (Best played as Axis). In the early days of 1940, German commanders anxiously awaited the the transmission of the code word "Dortmund", which would initiate Case Yellow, the invasion of France, Belgium and Holland. On May 10th the waiting came to an explosive end as the word was given and German aircraft filled the skies and the horizon was lit by the explosions of hundreds of peices of artillery opening fire. The 7th Panzer Division, commanded by General Erwin Rommel, thrust into the Ardennes through annoying barricades and obstructions prepared by the retreating Belgiuns to slow the German advance. Spearheading the division, the 7th Motorcycle Battalion and panzers from Colonel Rothenburg's 25th Pz Regiment hurried to reach their first day's objective, the Ourthe River. Late in the day the first strong opposition was encountered around Chabrehez when Rothenburg's leading elements, 10km short of their goal, slammed into the Belgian 3rd Chasseurs d'Ardennes Regiment.
