Slapped Backed!! - The Matrix Games version of East Front II

Muncheberg, Germany (Best played human vs human) With the 3rd Reich in it's death throes, the Russian Bear began to pickup speed. The German defenses on the Oder had been broken, and along the IX Army's front Germany's troops resembled more of a mob than an army. One town after another fell to the Russians as they advnaced on Berlin. Hitler determined not to fight the final battle in Berlin itself, threw whatever was available in the path of the hungry bear. The Germans paid a bitter price for every day's delay. Every town and hamlet became a fortress. One such area where heavy fighting occurred was in and around the town of Muncheberg, where the German defenders momentarily monted a semblance of an organized defense. Here, just 20 miles east of Berlin, soldiers of the 56th Pz Corps were determined to "Slap Back" at the Russian Bear.
