Northern suburbs of Leningrad: [Best played as Axis] By the end of August 41 the Finnish forces had broken through the frontier defences, recaptured all of their lost territory and virtually expelled the Soviets from the Karelian Isthmus. The advancing Finnish forces rapidly reached the improvised and weakly defended Beloostrov line, a mere 20km from Leningrad. Despite heavy political pressure from Germany, this is where the Finns stopped and stayed for the next four years. This hypothetical scenario considers the events which might have happened if the Finns had continued their advance. Defending Leningrad was an ad hoc organisation of defeated units, factory workers, prisoners, volunteers, sailors and regular units. In the Soviet's favor were over 5,000 pillboxes, the Baltic Fleet with 338 large guns and several canals. This scenario depicts the Finn's 1st Jaeger Brigade racing south, ahead of the main Finnish army, in an attempt to seize bridge crossings into the city.

Nice map, but the Finns don't have the manpower to engage the higher value, level 6 strength objectives in the time allotted, plus they are easily disrupted when shouted at. Not for H2H.
Resolve then, that on this very ground, with small flags waving and tinny blasts on tiny trumpets, we shall meet the enemy, and not only may he be ours, he may be us. --Walt Kelly
