Northern Ukraine, May 1944. A gaping hole in the German front and the crossroads at Malakov are there for the taking. The Russian 477th Rifle Regiment is forcemarched to the town while the 44th Guards Tank Brigade is dashing up from the south. The Germans know it is vital to deny the Russians Malakov and kampfgruppen from Infantrieregiment 233 and the Grossdeutschland Panzer Division are rushed to the scene and a messy battle ensues...
