Chouigui, SW of Tunis, Dec 1st 1942: Field Marshall Kettering directed Gen Nehring to enlarge the area Axis forces were holding around Tunis. This resulted in a counter attack being planned in the area of Chouigui and Tebourba. Gen Fischer commanding 10PzD used four separate groups starting with a holding attack in the south and an armored thrust against Chouigui in the north. Initially it was a great success, but the Allies rushed more men from US 1st AD's CCB forward to help Blade Force and 11th Inf Bde in the Tebourba gap. [Size, Medium] Designer Note: This scenario has been optimized to be played as HTH.

Tough on Allies until reinforcements come to the rescue. Allied armor is at big disadvantage with Axis armor as was case in historical T43.

Need to play again to figure best Axis Attack.

Axis have little artillery, fewer tanks and less Infantry. I was aggressive and tired my troops.

Both sides feel weak. The Germans have the qualitative advantage while the Allies have the quantitative advantage.

Not sure if I played it correctly. The Allied armour seemed impervious to my concentrated armour.

To have any hope of victory, the Axis player must inflict many losses on the opponent; the objectives are not enough in terms of victory points, net of his own losses.

Can be a tough go for the Axis against a competent opponent. Axis need to concentrate their forces and really smash some Allied units before they can recover. Axis also need a high favorable casualty rate to make up for the few objective points.
