Wurzburg, 0300 June 11th 1985: Elements of the 3rd US Infantry Division were beginning to stabilize the Schweinfurt area after a long night battle with the 79th Guards Tank Div around Schweinfurt. But unknown to Allied Command, the Warsaw Pact was getting ready to unleash an airborne strike aimed at the area NE of Wurzburg. For NATO, it was going to be another long day.
