Coa River Encounter July 24, 1810 - 24 turn variant using the alternative pdt, 10 minute turns and no fixed units except the garrison of Almeida. Disregarding Wellington's orders to cross the river Coa to avoid contact with Ney's much large French army, the pig-headed Brig.Gen. Robert Craufurd held his ground and was forced to conduct a desperate fighting retreat back to the bridge with the French hot on their heels.
