Starts out rough for the French, as they are hugely outnumbered. Holding Ratisbon is essential to delaying another Austrian corps from getting to the fight. Douvout has to play 'cat and mouse' till help arrives.

One of my favorite campaign sized scenarios with plenty of room and time to maneuver.

With the Austrians deploying north of the river, this scenario removes the initial fight over the Landshut bridge. The Ratisbon bridge however, once blown, prevents half the Austrian army from engaging in the game.
