"Thibron (Spartan) and his mercenary army attack the loyalist Cyreneans in Africa. This is in North Africa, West of Ptolemy's Egyptian empire. These forces met in battle on open ground outside of the city of Cyrene. Historically, Thibron's mercenaries won and success came from his superior heavy infantry whilst his outnumbered cavalry on the wings held out long enough with support from their experienced skirmishers. Can you as Thibron repeat his success by defending the flanks whilst pushing for victory in the centre?
