The axis high ground was critcal to victory, identified a flank attack and nearly encircled the enemy during they retreat control of the hill allowed me to mop up the last of the assault

Soviets outnumber and outcalibre Germans. Should be reframed as an Attacker/Defender scenario rather than a Meeting Engagement.

Nice map but some problems - opponent complained about Arty and blind spots form tanks - I had tank stuck on bridge unable to retreat or move forward and had a squad show up 200 m away from rest of squad when SPLIT.

Nice scenario to play, if done against a good opponent it may lead to very interesting tactical situations.
The only drawback it's that somehow there might be drawing collisions or something weird going on that causes the game engine to have problems related to LOS, or vice versa.

Difficult for tanks. A lot of hills and woods and you are never sure if you opponent have LOS or not.

Pro-ussr unless axis makes excellent use of anti-tank assets.

A few LOS issues due to gradient but otherwise a most entertaining game with lots of tactical options.

good scenario,
the only problem for me is that the russian side of the map is well road connected, the player can move quickly his troops from one side to the other. On the contrary the german side does not have such good road connection .

I enjoyed this scenario a lot, my opponent was tough, I had many scary moments throughout the game that made me question my plan. I was happy with a draw against such a fine opponent and look forward to the rest of this tournament.

Nice map, a little bit pro USSR, but very interesting options to try different tactics.

I really didn't like how the objectives were scattered.

Map seemed contrived, but gave a reasonable game.

The only issues I had with the map have already been addressed. Vehicle stuck on the bridge and so forth. A pretty good little map but a bit small.

It was possibly my own skill but it seemed easier for the axis side.

This is a fun scenario for HtH in that the objectives make for stressful initial planning. I'd say it's about 60-40 in favor the Russians, though in my HtH playing a different result in a few key engagements and it could have easily gone either way. Definitely worth a go.
