The scenario has an excellent map, a good mix of forces on both sides and a very good variety of different VPs to achieve. However, the initial setup and several VP objectives really tilt the play balance in favour of the Soviet side. My specific observations and recommend changes to improve play balance and enjoyment are as follows:

1) Initial Set Up - The Soviet player has a number of ATGs to set up a defence and two flanking forces to overwhelm the German bridgehead force very early on. Delaying the arrival of all or part of the flanking forces by 5-10 minutes would solve this problem.

2) Forces - The German forces should have an additional ~3 Panthers and a couple platoons of infantry as reinforcements to help balance the Soviet tank rider reinforcements.

3) VPs - eliminate the points for exiting German forces and Soviet points for "spotting" German forces.

Very well designed scenario with excellent backstory/briefing and a nice map. Highly recommended to play Axis vs AI.

However, very challenging to win as German playing a human opponent. The Soviet player gains a considerable amount of VP's for just spotting the larger of the two German KG's, and the German player won't stand any chance without committing that force. The German player also have a challenging starting position.

I gave it a slightly pro allies; however, I would need to play both sides to rate it correctly.

As I mentioned in an earlier comment, this scenario needs to add some German forces and remove VPs for spotting and exiting forces in order to be balanced. Currently, I don't see any way of winning as the German player in H2H.

Interesting scenario, feels like a tactical withdrawal than an actual rescue.

As the Axis, an inability to change the initial set-up for the force requiring rescue, along with the rescuing force being too far away at the start, makes this a very one-sided encounter. Either more Panthers for the besieged Germans, or the Russians starting either further away or with an initial weaker force may fix this
