Seems one sided, axis never really had the firepower to stop allied advance over open ground
It's not the one with your name on it; it's the one addressed "to whom it may concern" you've got to think about.

Very one sided yes. Only one you can do is keep that Hill and hope for a Frontal Attack and drag the Allies in the Vineyards and light Woods around the Hill. Mortars and MGs for the Allies and lots of Infantry. And they have lots of Rooms for Maneuver. 1-2 Halftracks for the Germans should help keep your Force Mobile and some Firesupport.

I like playing the Defender but you dont have lot of Options there.

Not many Options for the Defender. Lots of Time for the Attacker, Arty, Light Mortars and sufficient Manpower 3 Platoons + Multi Support Weapons. Against few Germans with LMGs and Light Infantry Gun.

Very static for the Defender. Not very much options you have and hard to delay the Attack with that much Time on the Clock.

If you like a Challenge and get a grim Smiley on your Face than the Axis Side is definatly for you

A small battle that provides some good experience with employing dismounted infantry. Both players need to fully understand how their VPs are earned in order to win as it is quite easy to get caught up in the battle and completely forget about terrain and parameter VPs that make all the difference.
