A great head to head match - the light and ground conditions can certainly add a challenge. The forces and objectives are asymmetrical so it will help to read through the briefings material and notes before diving in.

This is a tough one fo the Amis. If you can't neutralize the German key assets, you are in for a trashing.

Great opponent - very fun scenario - brilliant for H2H play.
"But I don't want to see CM's code or any games code. That is like seeing your spouse and your love as hormones and neurons firing in various lobes on PET scans. Some things should just be enjoyed for what they are; and not analyzed any further.

Nice little scenario with asymmetric forces, asymmetrically weighted geographic objectives, and an interesting map. Lots of potential approaches for both sides, I think.

I was really worried since I had very few foot troops but the number of mortars and the ammo level made up for that. Was very tense down to the last minute.

The Allies have very different men and equipment than the Germans. Narrow roads and boggy conditions mean both sides need to move carefully. Lots of ambush opportunities.

good hilly map with challenging conditions. Decent mix of forces, though Germans seemed a little thin on the ground considering its their offensive!

Two completely different forces meet. Darkness, soft ground and limited approaches make it unique.
It is very difficult however for one side to gain an decisive advantage.

Voted "Moderately Pro Allies", as the scoring for troop losses is heavily advantageous to the US side.
The German side does not get any points for destroying the main US force, so you end up with a loss despite killing of a substantial amount of the fully mechanised US force.
Not really a great scenario in my opinion, as it offers nothing specially engaging.
