Its more a slaughtergame. The US get an lot of firepower and must defend al small hill without any options for firelanes or disperse or transfer their units.
What's to say? A very little little let us do. And all is done. Then let the trumpets sound the tucket sonance and the note to mount; For our approach shall so much dare the field that England shall couch down in fear and yield.(Shakespeare,Henry the fifth)

The russians have only 2 or 3 tactical option to conquer a small US counquered wooden hill. Shot down all your bullets on this fucking hill first, bcause the US have 2 ATGM and 2 TOW stryker at the middle of game. At least they get Apache Helis at the end of the game and the russian dont have any AA

SPOILER:

IMO this game allows not much tactical choices for both sides.

As redfor, if you have no idea about Apache, you will be in trouble, since redfor has no AA in this scenario. I approached in slow-and-steady way, but it turns out to be a very, very bad idea at the end. My opponent choose to pour lots of firepower to anywhere on the hill as a redfor, and that was really brilliant. He suppressed all of US troops, which leads lots of misses - even Javelin.

As blufor, survival of AT assets are key to success, but this depends on luck. My opponent's mortars take them away at the opening and that was game over for me. I think I was unlucky but his forced attacks were great idea. It was really brutal. TOW strykers at the end was really useless, since the map is too small, and TOW has minimum range. 60mm should be in off-map.

A short, intense scenario that either side can win, but which will come down to a bloodbath every game no matter who wins. The map is much too small and in particular the American has virtually no flexibility in where to set up, meaning the Russian player's artillery will land on target starting on Turn 1 because there's only the two hills that the American could be on. The map also limits the Russian to basically a head-on attack with no opportunity for maneuver. And if the American is going to have Apaches roaming about, the Russian needs some form of air defense units.

IMO this scenario doesn't give much tactical choices for the both sides. Map is too small. Position of blufor is not a good ground for the defense. There are only limited approaching way to the hill for opfor. Survival of US AT assets could governs entire game from beginning. Opfor has no AA assets.

Map is much too small, which gives the American player no setup options except the very obvious of setting up on the two hills (each of which will be blasted by Russian artillery) and gives the Russian no option but a frontal assault in plain view. One side or the other will win based on luck -- if the Russian artillery kills the American ATGM teams the Russian will win, if the ATGMs survive the artillery the American will decimate the Russians, and that's even before the Apaches show up.
