Definitely challenging. Not yet certain about the play balance because although the Axis is outnumbered by the Allies, this time around the German Nebelwerfer barrage was lucky both in timing and location resulting in significant Allied casualties early on.

The briefing gives a full list of units for both sides, but I think the Axis list is off (I counted more MGs then listed, etc); but I didn't mind because the surprise got my guys killed, which added to the fun. Two Crack/Elite tigers are scary. I had little left that wasn't broken or nearly out of ammo by the end, and the fanatical elite germans only had a few tanks to deal with. Great if you like to put on a real fallback style defense.

A very enjoyable little scenario with the classic outnumbered but qualitatively superior Germans defending against "hordes" of Allies. The play balance seemed to favour the Allied side slightly as the German artillery was an all or nothing gamble and the HTs provided the British side with a decided mobility advantage. Given the map size, the heavy artillery on both sides seems like overkill and I think the balance would be improved by giving the German side mortars vice Nebelwerfers and replacing the British 114mm with 25 pounders.

A good force mix for both sides and a decent map with various route opportunities. An extra platoon of infantry or a couple of Shreck teams for the axis would balance it up a bit but otherwise a great fight against a tough opponent.

The Brits are a powerfull force, perhaps an optimal use of axis Tanks can help to win for the german.

Nice map with lots of options. Briefing could be improved; the results say there is an objective in addition to Hill 112, while the map appears to show several. Would be nice if that got clarified. Winnable from both sides. As Axis you can't defend the whole map yet don't have much infantry mobility. You do have experienced troops and two Pz VI. Allies have mobility and numerical superiority. Artillery, though different, is about equivalent and potentially game-changing (both sides).
