I'm going to say it was balanced only because I really don't know any better... althought the results registered were quite suspect... It said that I lost my battalion commander... which I didn't... and also one of my sherman's which had a key hole position, that I was freely moving into and out of through out the engagement decided to not move at all for the last 25 turns.... it didn't register immobilized and it's tracks were just fine... yet it refused to move at all... .I'm not sure that this would have given me an edge in the outcome of the battle but it is frustrating when you are trying to support your infantry and a powerful asset is idle... I don't know... kudows to Lehr... I'll have to play again to really give it a decent review.

I would rate it higher if it was twice as long. Great map with lots of puzzles and solutions.

Well balanced, force mix near identical from what I could tell from the Allied perspective. The map had was very nuanced with plenty of concealment terrain to keep you guessing about where all the bad guys might be.

This is a balanced scenario where both sides have roughly the same men, eqpt and objectives.

My advice with hedgerow fighting like in this battle is to ensure you put in enough way points when planning the movement of your troops and especially vehicles. Do not expect good route decision making by your crews....they may just make the wrong decisions that lead to their demise.....

My highly capable opponent was able to maximize the loss of most of my armour about 1/3rd of the way into the battle. Defeat was then imminent, it was just a question of when.
