Well balanced scenario. The better starting position and panzerfaust per squad make up for the better US armor and superior mobility (3-team squads + 2xM4 Rhino). Expect a quick, intense firefight. Many sweet spots for armor and infantry.

I liked that some of the US forces could somewhat travel through the Hedgerows which off set the German advantage with access to roads to begin scenario. Overall it was a great playing experience.
Expecting_at_crossroad
Well balansed. But for US side need more carefully orchestrated tactics.
Col_Deadmarsh
Very well balanced for PBEM. There are some options for flanking opponent but most of the fighting takes place head on. \r\n\r\nTanks have a hard time ruling over the battlefield as LOS is short and conditions are wet, making movement difficult.\r\n\r\nThe building structures on the map would serve more of a purpose if they could be used by either side more effectively.
Tumatauenga
Axis side benefits from faster and more protected approaches to the objective, allies benefit from better armour.

Quick, fun battle.
BBrus
Quick, intense battle for PBEM. Feels like a "quick match" battle, but the map is well designed and pretty balanced. The US side gets some better armor (rhino, 76s) to compensate for the German panzerfausts, which IMO is a bit excessive unless the axis gets a Tiger.
A Canadian Cat
Pretty straight forward meeting engagement with balanced forces. Enjoyable but not too different from a QB

A very well-balanced, entertaining scenario with plenty of options for both sides. 30 minute time limit forces both players to move aggressively.

A glitch came up in this battle which I believe is due to the new engine 4 game system. The german player started with only 2 panzers vice the 5 that I recall being there from a previous battle, which obviously made for a lopsided US advantage. I have noticed the same thing in a number of other scenarios (Flowers of the Forest, Colossal Crack to name a couple) in that units, tanks in particular, seem to have been deleted with the new engine.

Beautiful and interesting map, albeit a bit tight for the amount of firepower at your disposal.

I think downgrading both side's medium tanks into scout cars and adding a couple of additional infantry teams would make the scenario more dynamic.

The Rhino can give the Yanks a decided advantage, but this is negated by the Germans who I believe are able to occupy the town first with a concerted effort. I thought there was far too many tanks for only two platoons of infantry. I would recommend dropping a tank or two for each side. Otherwise, a quick, fun little battle!

Too much added time (over 10 minutes)
