FGM Rockville - Combat Mission: Battle For Normandy

Meticulously designed scenario with a mobile defense option available to Germans if the player decides that is needed. \r\n\r\nSome components of scenario seem very well thought out ahead of time by designer that improved play and options for both sides.\r\n\r\nMy only concern is that the map might be ever so slightly in Allies favor but I\'m not 100% sure of this.\r\n\r\nStill, an excellent scenario that I look forward to playing again and would still recommend as H2H battle.

A fun, small scenario. Challenging for both sides, and both sides must protect key units whose loss can spell disaster.

Asymmetric game very well designed.

Wide variety of units and opportunities for flanking. Very well designed and fun.

I think this is a pretty well balanced scenario in that both sides have a chance of a win or loss even though I suffered a major defeat playing as allies at the hands of horstherman's evil axis forces. I lost a major asset early on but was able to hang in and give my playing a partner a good fight.

This is a fun h2h scenario to play.

Restricted river crossings, open terrain, hedgerows, buildings.... a nice mix!

The US may have a slight advantage, but nothing can be taken for granted.

i cant say i enjoyed this one that much though it could be very dependant on how lucky/unlucky you might be early on. I unfortunately lost my best asset too early in the fight and that left my remaining scanty forces to be systematically overwhelmed by US firepower. But map is good and a decent spread of forces for both sides. A slight US bias merely down to numbers but more realistic that way.
