The briefing needs some work, I think it would be a good thing if more precise information was given to the Allied player about the timing of the reinforcements. Other than that, it is a challenging and interesting scenario.

Nice map... Not a big fan of Huge scenarios, but MB was quite enjoyable...

Despite my victory I must still lean on slightly pro axis for this one. Axis are almost equally strong in armor and artillery so the allied player has very rough time to gain even local superiority and evading axis arty that will murder your infantry if a single mistake is made. High stakes! Very nice combined arms aspects for both sides with interesting objectives and beautiful interesting highly detailed map! Can't wait to get to try this as axis as well. Highly recomended for anyone not intimidated by the large size of the scenario!

The setup and arrival of reinforcements seemed to favour the Axis player in this battle but overall the forces seem balanced. If the Allied player's tanks arrived 5-10 minutes earlier and German heavy arty didn't arrive until ~30 minutes into the battle, that would likely even up the scenario.

A very fun and enjoyable battle as is with an excellent mix of forces for both sides and a very good map with varied terrain.

There is one tweak that I think would improve the battle further however as follows:

Allied VPs - 400 out of a total of 800 for achieving the 75% threshold for friendly casualties. This is far too much and encourages passive play. Drop to 100 and allocate the remaining 300 to destroying enemy forces.

I don't really know if it was well balanced or if it was terribly entertaining. I picked 9 cuz of the challenging part! Big scenario with lots of moving parts to it and my timing was just off from the start! Guess there were just too many things to coordinate or I simply screwed it up. I know I could do better playing a second time but not sure if I want to put in that much effort! Ugh...

Managing the rhinos and the engineers is essential. Also the forward observers are essential for delivering all the off map ordinance. My opponent is ranked pretty high so I feel a draw is a victory.

A great battle and challenge for either side. Even though it appears as a defensive battle for the German player, the VPs ensure that you can't just sit back passively - the German player must go on the attack at some point in order to win.
