CW Flowers of the Forest - Combat Mission: Battle For Normandy

Would definitely suggest that the stronger player takes the Allies in this one.

The British forces should have 1-2 sections of pioneers to aid in getting through the bocage as they are restricted to only a couple, narrow routes. The added mobility would make improve the balance and make a good battle even better IMHO.

Seemed like a well thought out scenario

Those crack Tiger tanks appearing as a reinforcement pretty much saved the day for the Germans. This scenario makes you painfully aware of the limitations of Green troops. I surrendered when my command morale all but collapsed, ceasing to be an effective attacking force.

Excellent scenario, has the ability to go either way depending on the fortunes of war or tactics employed.
The weather can rob you of some good AFV's.

Very fun and challenging battle. I think it would be better if conditions were merely damp rather than wet as the long distance to travel over boggy ground with no alternative routes to travel effectively causes the loss of almost a third of the British armour with no utility in terms of game enjoyment.

Demanding scenario, British forces are very limited by bocage corridors. Would be nice to have some demo charges. Weather is very limiting factor, but definitely changeling scenario for h2h play.
