As soon as the German begins to get units encircled, there's little hope to win. If the Allies use proper tactics and avoid German resistance, attacking deep into the German rear, there's not much to do..

It's hard to contain the Allied break out from the beachheads, one has to use ones very best tactics in order to win as German!

i definitely recommend this one very enjoyable short and small map doesn't take much time.

i'll just add it might be slightly more difficult for the alieed now as with toaw III fortified units are harder to dislodge but to me it doesn't really unbalance the scenario

Axis must divide and defend, Allies must attack (what else?)

The allies must push like mad, both to destroy and disrupt the Germans, also to take objectives. Germans must divide and form defensive lines to keep Allies from breaking through and protect reinforcement hexes. I learned all this from Jan Ekelin.
