Winterfox vs. jhmorneau

I found this scenario unbalanced and strongly in favour of the US side. Far too many Shermans andUS troop quality over the top (veterans everywhere + cracks units !?). I sure made a couple of costly errors: my Stugs defending the winery were lost too early, for example. Still, I managed to destroy 15 enemy armor units... but it was not enough to stem the tide. Had the battle stopped 5 turns earlier, I could have suffered only a minor defeat... or even managed a draw.

So here are some suggestions to make this scenario more enjoyable for the German side:
1/ reduce the number of Shermans
2/ reduce US troop quality
3/ reduce the duration of the battle, therefore forcing US troops to take more risks
4/ reduce the value of the church objective: 500 pt is way too much provided it is fully exposed to enemy armor fire.

Maybe #3 would be enough to alter the balance significantly.

Now I must say that I see a lot of potential for this scenario. The map in itself is real work of art!

A few more things :
- trees were a major pain in the butt for my PIV on the hill behind the village: there seemed to be no way to get LOS/LOF to the enemy tanks on the opposite hill. Very frustating.
- bridges can be a tricky issue for the US player: I managed to destroy two shermans on those bridges, therefore making them impassable for enemy vehicles. Alas it was too little too and late to change the outcome.

Thanks for letting us playtest this scenario. I enjoyed it a lot.
