Interesting game, the asymmetric victory conditions make it very interesting.

And well played, Duff. You turned out my right flank at the very beginning of the scenario, and my forward screen got pretty much chewed up by your machine guns. You also implemented very well combined arms tactics, synchronizing well smoke and shell barrages with the moves of your forces. I think I got lucky with the one just to the front of my "Headquarters" objective area, since the spotting rounds pretty much gave away the actual target of your mortars and I managed to fall back to my "last line of defense" just in time to avoid my troops from being demolished.

I would say you outplayed me. Your withdrawals were expertly timed so that I was never able to bring my full firepower to bear on your shifting positions ... and those $%*&#(* little mortars really shredded some of my best units. By the end I had very little striking power left. Good game!

Those little mortars are the key tool of the Commonwealth armies... Being in a few games against them, I have learnt to respect them as I do respect German machine guns.

Happy to hear you enjoyed the game, it was a bitter fight.
