I'm not sure if the play balance favors the British so highly, or if it was just the weather. Over the course of a 5 day scenario, there were storms at least three of the days. I thought that would favor the Axis by grounding the Desert Air Force. But it seemed to do more harm to the Axis by depriving them of their mobility. Mobility was not an issue for the British, since much of their force was fixed for the duration of the scenario.

Storm conditions not three, but four of the five days definitely affected the Axis mobility. Most Italian troops, the bulk of the Axis forces, could only move one hex per turn.
